Is there a way to turn the CPB2011 around so that it is more inclusive and free rather and exclusive and non-free? Kinda like how the FLOSS movement uses strong copyright law to enforce freedoms instead of restrict it.
Asides
R-A-H-M-A-N and M-A-H-A-T-H-I-R
I think that every Malaysian knows about the so-called self-fulfilling R-A-H-M-A-N prophecy, leading to our list of PMs from Rahman, Abdul Razak, Hussein Onn, Mahathir, Abdullah, and Najib. My sister recently came up with a new M-A-H-A-T-H-I-R prophecy, with the following list of PMs starting with Muhyiddin, Anwar, Hishamuddin, etc.
Dud Assembly
Turns out that the assembly is a dud. According to news reports, only about 5,000 of the 100,000 seats were filled and many even left early. How unfortunate. We’re back to being apathetic Malaysians, once again.
Anwar Jokes
Kid you not and I don’t believe it – Anwar claims that the NEP is responsible for the falling academic standards at Universiti Malaya because sub-standard people have been promoted through the years due to affirmative action policies and they are now at the helm. Anwar conveniently forgets that he is partially responsible too!
Hiring Blues
My top three enemies in my hiring process are (in no particular order): multi-national companies, local immigration, and old-fashioned parents who have a pre-conceived notion of what a company should be. The last one is hurting me bad.
Disorganised Thoughts
I do think that some things are going off the track, in my life. Certain things are getting derailed while other things seem to be steaming ahead. I need a break. Some time for reflection. However, there is too much work that needs to be done. Frak.
To Sir, with Lube
Counted twelve “Sir” in the speech given by the President of MCA when he addresses our dearest PM and leader of the BN. Lubricating the points across, maybe?
