Education scholarships. Our government disburses many of them through its many agencies and government linked companies. We are fortunate in that we have one of the most generous national governments, when it comes to educational funding. We had a prolonged TehTarik session last night that lasted till 4.30am. During that time, lots of things were discussed and one of the things that came up was game theory. Seems like a recent development, but the Public Services Department, has announced that they will be offering scholarships to anyone, who scored 9As and above, in last year's SPM examinations. In addition, anyone who manages to secure a place in a top international university, will also be given scholarships. All this is regardless of background. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing overall.
